How many sittings does a root canal take?
Many cases can be completed in a single visit of 60–90 minutes. Infected or complex teeth may need 2–3 shorter sittings. We confirm the plan after examining your tooth and X-ray.
Do I need a crown (cap) after a root canal?
In most cases, yes - a crown protects the treated tooth from fracture and is strongly recommended for back teeth. We'll advise you honestly based on how much natural tooth structure remains.
