A Measured Practice
Fifteen Years at the Bar
Adv. Rajesh Deshmukh was enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa in 2011. Since then, his practice has been anchored at the Thane District & Sessions Court, with regular appearances before the Bombay High Court in appellate, writ and matrimonial matters.
His work concentrates on the disputes that most often reach households and small businesses in the Thane region - property and tenancy, family and matrimonial proceedings, civil suits, and the recovery of dues, including cheque-dishonour complaints under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
Clients are given a realistic view of their matter at the outset: the strengths and weaknesses of the case, the likely timelines, and the costs involved. Where a negotiated settlement or mediation serves a client better than litigation, that advice is given plainly.

Approach to Client Matters
Candour, Preparation, Proportion
Candour first. A client is told what the papers support - not what they may wish to hear. An honest early assessment often saves years of avoidable litigation.
Preparation over posture. Matters are won on the record. Pleadings, documents and chronology are prepared with care well before a matter reaches the board.
Proportionate advice. Litigation is a means, not an end. Where settlement, mediation or a well-drafted notice can resolve a dispute, that route is recommended.
Clear communication. Fees, timelines and the next step in the proceedings are explained in plain language at every stage, so a client is never left guessing.
