Frequently asked questions
Your questions, answered honestly
Everything patients usually ask before their first visit - from referrals and charges to home visits. Can't find your question? Just message us on WhatsApp.
Do I need a doctor's referral to start physiotherapy?
No. You can visit a physiotherapist directly. If your condition needs a specialist's opinion first, Dr. Kulkarni will tell you honestly at the assessment.
What happens in the first session?
Your first visit is a detailed assessment - history, movement tests and a discussion of your reports if any. You leave with a clear explanation of the problem, a treatment plan and an idea of how many sessions you may need.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the condition. Many patients feel a difference within 4–6 sessions. Progress is reviewed openly, and you get only the sessions you actually need.
What are the charges per session?
Charges depend on the treatment required. Message us on WhatsApp or call the clinic and we'll share the per-session fee upfront - no hidden charges.
Do you provide home visit physiotherapy?
Yes. Home visits are available across Bhiwandi by appointment - mainly for post-surgery patients and seniors who can't travel to the clinic. See home visit physiotherapy.
Can physiotherapy help me avoid surgery?
In many back, neck, knee and shoulder conditions, a structured physiotherapy plan reduces pain and restores function without surgery. Where surgery is genuinely needed, we'll tell you - and support your recovery after it.
What should I wear or bring to my appointment?
Comfortable, loose clothing you can move in. Bring any reports, X-rays or MRI films you have, and a list of medicines you take.
Do you treat elderly patients?
Yes. We regularly work with seniors on joint replacement recovery, balance and fall prevention, arthritis management and safe strength building - at the clinic or at home.
Still have a question?
Send it on WhatsApp along with a short note about your pain - we reply during clinic hours, usually within the hour.
