Our Story
Seventeen years of Sunday lunches, first dates, farewell dinners and family celebrations on FC Road.
It started with one question: why should a family split up to eat?
When Arjun Nair moved from Kochi to Pune, his family’s dinner debates always ended the same way - grandmother wanted pure veg South Indian, the kids wanted noodles, and everyone else wanted tandoori. No single restaurant near FC Road served all three, honestly and under one roof.
So in 2009, in the ground floor of Kamala Heights, he opened one. Spice Route was built around a simple promise: three cuisines, two kitchens (pure veg and non-veg, kept strictly apart), one warm family table.
Today the 80-seat AC hall hums every evening, the 40-seat party hall hosts everything from mundan ceremonies to retirement parties, and our catering vans carry the same kitchens to weddings across Pune.

The Spice Route promise
Two kitchens, zero mixing
Separate pure veg and non-veg kitchen zones, vessels and staff - plus Jain preparations on request. Everyone at your table eats with full confidence.
Fresh, every single day
Masalas stone-ground at 5 am, dosa batter fermented in-house, chutneys made twice daily. Nothing sits overnight that shouldn’t.
Families first
High chairs, low-spice kids’ portions, unhurried tables and staff who remember your usual order. This is your dining room, extended.
