Neurological Rehabilitation in Bhiwandi
After a stroke or a neuro diagnosis, families are often told to "just wait and see". We disagree. With structured rehab, most patients can measurably improve strength, balance and independence.
Recovery is a skill - and it can be trained
The nervous system can re-learn. That's the science behind neuroplasticity, and it's the foundation of our neuro programme led by Dr. Sneha Patil. With the right exercises, repeated correctly and progressed at the right time, patients rebuild movement patterns the brain thought were lost.
What makes neuro rehab different is that it's a family project. That's why every plan at Sanjeevani includes caregiver training - so the two hours a week with us are multiplied by consistent practice at home.
- Stroke (hemiplegia): arm and leg re-education, walking practice, daily-activity training.
- Parkinson's disease: gait, balance and mobility programmes to stay independent longer.
- Bell's palsy & nerve weakness: facial re-education, electrical stimulation, home exercises.
- Balance & vertigo: vestibular exercises and fall-prevention training for seniors.
Our treatment approach
- Neuro assessment (Day 1)
Muscle tone, strength, balance, coordination and daily-activity scoring - establishing an honest baseline we can measure progress against.
- Goal setting with the family
We agree on functional goals that matter: sitting unsupported, walking to the bathroom, climbing the building stairs, returning to work.
- Active re-education
Task-specific training, gait practice on parallel bars, balance work and strengthening - progressed session by session.
- Home programme & caregiver coaching
Family members learn safe transfers, assisted exercises and positioning - with written instructions in simple language.
What to expect on your first visit
- Bring discharge summaries, MRI/CT reports and the current medicine list.
- A family member should join the first session - their role in recovery is central.
- If travel is difficult, ask about starting with home visits - we'll assess at your residence.
Who should book this programme?
Stroke survivors at any stage of recovery, people living with Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis, Bell's palsy patients (the earlier the better), seniors with repeated falls or balance problems, and anyone with unexplained limb weakness referred by their physician.
Frequently asked questions
How soon after a stroke should physiotherapy start?
As early as the treating doctor allows - often within days of the patient being medically stable. Early, consistent rehab is the single biggest factor in regaining movement and independence. If you're unsure, share the discharge summary with us on WhatsApp and we'll advise.
Can neuro physiotherapy be done at home in Bhiwandi?
Yes. Many of our stroke and Parkinson's patients start with home visits and shift to the clinic once they can travel. Our portable kit covers most of what early neuro rehab needs, and clinic sessions add gait and balance equipment later.
How long does Bell's palsy recovery take with physiotherapy?
Most Bell's palsy cases show good recovery within 3–8 weeks using facial re-education exercises, electrical stimulation and a home routine. Starting within the first week improves the odds of a complete recovery.
Every week of rehab counts
