Sports rehab programme

Sports Injury Rehabilitation in Bhiwandi

Rest alone doesn't heal a sports injury - it just pauses it. Our programme rebuilds strength, agility and confidence so the injury doesn't return the day you do.

Built for players, runners and gym-goers

Whether it's a twisted ankle from Sunday cricket, a hamstring pulled at the gym, or knee pain that shows up at kilometre three - sports injuries follow a pattern: an overloaded tissue that was never properly reconditioned. Icing and rest handle the first week; everything after that is rehab.

Led by Dr. Rohan More, this programme takes you from pain relief to sport-specific strength - finishing with practical return-to-play tests so you know, not guess, that you're ready.

  • Knee: ACL/ligament injury rehab (pre- and post-surgery), runner's knee, meniscus issues.
  • Ankle & leg: ankle sprains, shin splints, calf and hamstring strains.
  • Shoulder & arm: dislocation rehab, rotator cuff overuse, thrower's shoulder.

Our treatment approach

  1. Injury assessment & grading (Day 1)

We identify the injured structure, grade the severity and - where needed - refer for scans or a surgical opinion before starting.

  2. Protect & recover

Swelling and pain control, taping or bracing guidance, and safe early movement to prevent stiffness and muscle loss.

  3. Rebuild strength & control

Progressive loading, balance and agility drills tailored to your sport - cricket, football, running or gym training.

  4. Return-to-play testing

Hop tests, strength comparisons and sport drills confirm you're match-ready - plus a prevention routine to keep you there.

What to expect on your first visit

  • Wear sports clothing - the assessment involves movement testing, not just a look at the sore spot.
  • Bring any MRI/X-ray reports; recent injuries (under 48 hours) get a protection-first plan.
  • You'll leave with a phased timeline - what you can and can't do at each stage of recovery.

Who should book this programme?

Local cricketers and footballers, runners preparing for events, gym members with training injuries, school and college athletes, and anyone whose old injury "acts up" every time they get active again. If an injury has benched you for more than a week, get it assessed.

Frequently asked questions

Can an ACL injury be treated without surgery?

Some partial ACL injuries do well with structured strengthening alone; complete tears in active players usually need surgery followed by months of guided rehab. We assess your case honestly, coordinate with an orthopaedic surgeon when needed, and support either path.

How soon can I return to sport after an ankle sprain?

Mild sprains typically take 2–4 weeks; moderate to severe ones 6–12 weeks. Going back before strength and balance are restored is the main reason sprains keep repeating - we use simple field tests to confirm you're genuinely ready.

Do you treat gym injuries and beginners, or only athletes?

Both. A large share of our sports caseload is gym-goers, runners and weekend players - not professionals. The programme adapts to your level; the goal is simply returning you safely to the activity you love.
