Ortho & spine programme

Orthopaedic Rehabilitation in Bhiwandi

If back pain wakes you up at night, your shoulder won't reach the top shelf, or your knees complain on every staircase - this programme was built for you.

Pain shouldn't be your daily routine

Orthopaedic problems rarely start dramatically. A stiff neck after long working hours. A knee that clicks on stairs. A shoulder that slowly stops cooperating. Left alone, these small complaints harden into chronic pain - and painkillers only mute the alarm without fixing the cause.

Our orthopaedic programme, led by Dr. Amit Kulkarni (BPTh, MPTh) and Dr. Priya Shah, treats the mechanics behind the pain: weak muscles, stiff joints, poor posture and faulty movement patterns.

  • Spine: low back pain, cervical spondylosis, sciatica, disc-related pain, postural strain.
  • Shoulder & arm: frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome.
  • Knee & foot: knee osteoarthritis, ligament strain, heel pain and plantar fasciitis.

Our treatment approach

  1. Detailed assessment (Day 1)

40 minutes of history-taking, posture screening, joint range and strength testing - plus a review of any reports you bring.

  2. Pain-relief phase

Manual therapy, IFT/TENS, therapeutic ultrasound and gentle mobilisation to calm the pain down and restore basic movement.

  3. Strength & mobility phase

Progressive, supervised exercise in our therapy hall - targeting the weak links that caused the problem in the first place.

  4. Prevention & discharge

A written home programme, ergonomic advice for work and daily life, and a clear plan for staying pain-free.

What to expect on your first visit

  • Come in comfortable clothing; bring any X-rays, MRI films or doctor's notes you have.
  • Your physiotherapist explains the diagnosis in plain language - what's causing the pain and why.
  • You get a written plan: number of sessions, expected milestones and the first exercises to start the same day.

Who should book this programme?

Office workers and powerloom operators with back or neck pain, seniors with knee arthritis, homemakers with shoulder stiffness, and anyone whose joint or muscle pain has lasted longer than two weeks. If pain is limiting your daily routine, an assessment is worth it - even if you end up not needing a full course.

Frequently asked questions

How many sessions will I need for back pain?

Most mechanical back pain cases improve noticeably within 6–10 sessions. After your first assessment we give you a written plan with an expected timeline, and we review progress every week - you'll never be asked to continue sessions without a reason.

Do I need a doctor's referral or X-ray before visiting?

No referral is needed. If you already have X-rays, MRI reports or prescriptions, bring them along - but our physiotherapists are trained to assess and start safe treatment without them, and we'll refer you onward if anything needs a doctor's opinion first.

Is physiotherapy painful for frozen shoulder or arthritis?

Some techniques involve mild, controlled stretching discomfort - that's normal and short-lived. It should never be unbearable. We progress intensity gradually and use electrotherapy to keep sessions comfortable.
